A Surprising Twist of Fates (Sierra and Theo)

Madison found it infuriating as she clenched her fists. Then, she grabbed a nearby pillow and pummeled it as if it were Benson.

"He cheated and still wants to marry you? Does he think he can have every woman? That's disgusting!" she spat angrily and furrowed her brows. "Cee, you should have called Mr. Gray before going there. What if he hadn't arrived in time? Were you really going to marry Benson?"

Sierra pressed her lips together, lowered her gaze, and said softly, "Nope, but William and Benson used my mother to pressure me today. I had to go along with them, but in reality, the wedding wouldn't have gone through, and William wouldn't be able to blame me."

Madison was momentarily stunned. "Did you already have a plan?"

"I had some ideas. My previous plan was to get through today and privately inform Grandpa Edward about Benson's affair. Given Grandpa Edward's friendship with my grandfather, he wouldn't have let me marry Benson.

"Now that Uncle Theo showed up and exposed everything in public, it has actually worked out even better."

Madison nodded with a grin. "Now that everything's out in the open, it's caused your scumbag father's plans to fall apart completely. Benson can't force you to marry him anymore."

Seeing Sierra smile only made Madison feel even worse. She knew Sierra couldn't openly defy William because of Vera. And because she understood the situation so well, it made her heart ache even more.

She took Sierra's hand and asked earnestly, "Cee, if you don't want to be controlled by that scumbag father of yours, Theo can definitely help you. Have you told him that you only went to see Benson because of your mom?"

Sierra's eyes flickered slightly, and she shook her head.

"No. But I did tell Uncle Theo that I was forced to go. I just didn't explain why."

That said, she figured that Theo, being as sharp as he was, had probably already picked up on it.

Madison understood her hesitation and squeezed her hand reassuringly. "Cee, if you want to break free from your family and Benson, Theo is probably your only way out."

Sierra hesitated for a moment before finally telling Madison about the one-week agreement she had with Theo.
