Drunk and Daring I Kissed a Tycoon

Chapter 305

What was going on? Vespera tried to pull her hands away, but Dominic held them firmly, guiding them along the lines of his waist. She felt the heat radiating from his body seep through the fabric of his shirt. She didn't dare to look down at all.

"Do you really not know that woman?" Vespera asked, trying to change the topic.

Dominic gave a low hum in response, smooth and seductive. As he rested his head against Vespera's chest, he unclasped the hook on her back. His lips brushed against the fabric of her clothes, dampening them.

Vespera's breath hitched. It was shaky one moment and shallow the next.

"Let's just chat. Don't..." Vespera muttered.

Dominic savored Vespera like a dessert. Just then, his phone rang, which pulled her back to reality.noveldrama

Flushed and flustered, Vespera shoved Dominic away and stumbled into her room. She slammed the door behind her and locked it.

Dominic stared after her for a moment before pulling out his phone. When he saw who made the call, his expression shifted into something more serious. He said, "Dad."

"Dominic, Mr. Locke called just now. He said that he left his daughter in the care of someone living in your community, but that person went out and hasn't returned. They can't reach him either.

"She's downstairs in the lobby right now, and she can't be left alone. Can you bring her up to your place and keep an eye on her? He said he would go and pick her up as soon as possible," said Samuel on the other end of the line.

At that, Dominic's expression darkened. He asked, "Is this what Mr. Locke said?"

"Yeah. You haven't met his daughter before, have you? I'll send you a picture," responded Samuel.

"There's no need. I know what she looks like," said Dominic with an indifferent tone. He then added, "Tell Mr. Locke that I'll send someone down to look after her. You can tell him to pick her up at property management."

Upon hearing that, Samuel asked, "Can you at least bring her home and comfort her a bit?"

"Sleep early. I'm hanging up."

After saying that, Dominic ended the call, leaving Samuel speechless. For a moment, Dominic fell into deep thought as he sat on the couch. A while later, he got up and stepped onto the balcony to make a few caffs. One of which lasted quite a while..

Inside the bedroom, Vespera tried to listen to what was going on outside. After a long while, she heard the footsteps of Dominic leaving the apartment.

She slowly opened her door and peeked out. The living room was empty. Did he leave because she locked the door? Or was it the phone call?

She couldn't be bothered to

overthink it. She closed the door and took a shower before collapsing into bed. Within minutes, she was asleep, completely missing the notification on her phone that came in later.

The next morning, Vespera woke up and grabbed her phone. A message from Dominic that was sent late at night lit up her screen.

The message read, "Sleep well. When you wake up, go upstairs for breakfast. I had Mr. Chandler make your favorite."

Vespera felt her heart skip a beat,

but she snapped back to reality right away. She shouldn't be swayed so easily. This was nothing but tust clouding her judgment!

She had to stay focused. She couldn't have feelings for Dominic. She had to stay a player.

Determined, Vespera ignored the message. Before 7:30 am, she left the community. She drove to a nearby coffee shop and ordered breakfast.

If Dominic or Raymond gave her a call and asked about it later, she could just say

she slept through the message and had already eaten.

While munching on a sandwich, she kept her head down and scrolled through her phone. Then, without warning, someone sat down across from her.
