After the woman left, Corey finally turned to Matthew with a wry smile. "She and her daughter were attacked by some thugs not long ago, and I just happened to be nearby. Ever since then, that lady has insisted on bringing me eggs and other things to thank me. It's not a bad thing, right?"

Matthew gave a subtle smile and continued walking forward with Corey by his side.

"One, two, three, four!"

A chant rang out in the distance, followed closely by the rhythmic thud of boots hitting the ground. A team in camouflage uniforms quickly emerged from afar, marching in perfect formation.

"Mr. Larden, this is the new blood of our Viper Crew," Corey said, gesturing toward the group. "I picked them from those who were either trafficked to the island or stranded here. They don't carry the same vicious energy or murderous air as the criminals. These people are going to be the backbone of our future."

Matthew's gaze swept across the sweating figures, their faces bright with smiles and full of vitality and determination.

"Good," he said.

Once inside the office, the faint smile on Matthew's face faded into a calm composure. "How's the task I assigned you coming along?"

He had previously slipped Corey a note, outlining policies and plans for development that Matthew had designed himself.

"Mr. Larden, I've already investigated the entire Viper Crew," Corey said, grabbing a report from the table and handing it over to Matthew. "Everyone listed in here has a serious criminal record."

Matthew opened the report and began reading through the profiles.

Sorin Drae, S-rank wanted criminal from Druira-set fire to an entire village, reducing it to ash. Hundreds suffocated to death, their corpses dried and mummified.

Jorren Vale, Double S-rank wanted criminal from Dornia-led a group to hijack a high school. Killed every male student and teacher inside, held the attractive female students hostage, raped all of them, and then detonated explosives to kill them all.
