My Four Miraculous Treasures

Chapter 368

Willow never wanted to marry Xavier in the past, much less now.

She also hated herself for naively assuming that Jasper would marry her after he claimed responsibility for the events five years ago. She even accompanied him to his family home to visit his grandparents, thinking she could provide her children with a complete family.

However, his idea of responsibility was monetary compensation in the form of a mansion.

Noble young masters like him would never resort to marriage as a form of compensation when money could solve the issue at hand.

Now understanding this, Willow only wanted to distance herself from him,

ensuring their paths never crossed again.

Jasper's gaze intensified with a sharpness that threatened to pierce through her. "Have you ever met a hunter who releases his prey?"

Willow's heart sank in defeat.

Jasper had made it clear that he wouldn't release her because she was just prey for him to toy with.

Willow felt the stark reality of her powerlessness.

Unable to fight back, Willow retreated to the bedroom. Though she tossed and turned in bed, sleep eluded her.

The more she pondered her future, the darker and more despairing it seemed.

She felt lost and helpless.

What was she to do?

At midnight, while attempting to fall asleep, Willow was startled by an approaching chilling aura.

Opening her eyes out of shock, she turned around to see Jasper sitting on the bed.

He was wearing a bathrobe with an open chest, revealing lean muscles exuding a strong masculine aura.

The sight unnerved Willow, prompting her to fearfully scoot to the other side of the bed to get away from him.

Failing to control her speed due to nervousness, she reached the edge of the bed and fell off.

"Ah!" Willow gasped in shock.

A strong arm reached over and grabbed her by her waist. With a tug, she was pulled back onto the bed and collided with the man's chest.

Willow's face was planted right into his well-sculpted muscles.

His chest felt warm and solid. She could even hear the sound of his heart beating.

Willow felt a throbbing heat on her cheeks. An electrifying sensation coursed through her, causing her body to go numb.

She soon realized how dangerous this situation was.

She frantically tried to back away.

Just as she lifted her head, Jasper tightened his hold on her, pushing her forcefully back into his chest.

In a low voice, he commanded, "Don't move!"

When Willow fell into his arms earlier, it felt like a piece of cloud had filled up his heart.

Her bittersweet scent, akin to a spring breeze, overwhelmed him and stimulated his body.

He could barely control himself, just like five years ago.

Unable to endure it any longer, Jasper pinned her down after hugging her for a while.

Willow's world seemed to spin

before she found herself lying on the bed. She tooked up to see Jasper hovering over her with a drunken expression, engulfing her with his masculine aura, and staring straight at her with his dark eyes.

Willow's heart began to pound, threatening to jump out of her chest.

Her eyes widened.

Then, Jasper leaned down and sealed her lips with his own.noveldrama

Willow struggled, but Jasper pinned her hands down, interlocking their fingers and pinning them above her head to stop her from moving. He further deepened the kiss.

The next day, a calm breeze swept in through the windows, gently caressing Willow's cheek.

The warm morning sunlight illuminated her small face, accentuating the soft beauty of her fair face and delicate features.

Her body was under the covers, leaving an arm hanging over

the ef

edge of the bed, giving off the net

impression of a sickly beauty.

The fingers of her hanging arm twitched slightly, and her eyes seemed to roll beneath delicate eyelids.

She gradually woke up.

Lifting her hand to shield her eyes from the dazzling sunlight, she sat up.
