Chapter 1050
“Yeah.” Debra nodded. novelbin
“Huh? Aren’t you a spoiled rich lady? I thought you were like my sister, never lifting a finger for anything,” said Garland.
Liza grumbled, “Says who? I can make chocolate
“Right, if melting chocolate and putting it into a mold counts,” Garland scoffed.
Andrew suddenly lost his appetite. He put down his fork and knife. “Barton, pack the food and send it upstairs. It’s too crowded down here. I can’t eat like this.”
Randy protested, “Wait. If you take the food away, what are we going to eat?“.
“Didn’t you and Erica already eat at the hotel? You probably don’t have room for a second dinner,” Andrew replied blandly.
Randy blushed when their date was exposed. He jumped up and rushed up the stairs.
Erica casually whistled as she strolled upstairs.
Liza and Garland were puzzled.
Debra watched Andrew leave and sighed. ‘Sure enough, it’s not easy to pacify him.‘
Marion saw her frustrated expression. “Did you upset him?”
Debra explained what had happened during the day and concluded, “To be honest, I nearly did everything but poop in front of him.”
Marion rubbed his forehead. If it were anyone else, it wouldn’t matter as much. But Andrew was vindictive.
Though he hadn’t said much, it was hard to say if Andrew wouldn’t make things difficult for Debra later. He might appear gentle, but he was full of tricks behind the scenes.
“I’ll talk to him. Don’t worry,” Marion’reassured her.
Debra was relieved a bit. As Erica said, no one in the Potter family dared to go against Andrew’s. Few people in this city did.
Debra wasn’t sure whether to admire Andrew’s decisiveness or pity his loneliness. But she didn’t regret forcing him to take the medicine.
The next morning, Debra woke up early to receive news about the shipment.
After sending the location and time to Drake, she drove to the hotel he was staying in.
After Marion burned down his house, Drake had no place to stay and was forced to live in the hotel.
Soon, he appeared in front of Debra, dressed in a bodyguard’s uniform. With his strong build, he didn’t look out of place.
Debra nodded in approval. “Not bad. You’ve got some potential as a bodyguard.”
Drake shrugged. “Apparently, Marion would make a better bodyguard.”
“Why?”
“Why so many questions? Are you coming or not?”
“Where’s Kale? Isn’t he coming with you?”
“Too many people will raise suspicion. I’ve set up the net to catch them.”
