No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric)

Noelle knew that the more clues they gathered, the closer they were to

uncovering the truth. Tilly continued, "According to family ties, this man is Xenia's distant uncle by blood, but he's also Sean's cousin."

Noelle was caught off guard by the revelation. She asked, "Did you find any leads on Sean?"

"That's the strange part. Our people have been watching this guy-he works as a mechanic at a dealership, lives in the employee dorms, and rarely goes out. He's a lifelong bachelor with almost no social circle."

Noelle felt a twinge of disappointment-so there was still no trace of Sean.

Cedric squeezed Noelle's hand. "Don't stress yourself out. Now that we've found this guy, it's only a matter of time before we find Sean."noveldrama

"I know... I just feel anxious and a little nervous." Noelle had only been speculating at first, but as she pieced everything together, she realized she was actually onto something-Sean was real, and she was getting closer to him.

She took a deep breath to calm herself. "If that's the case, then Sean should have been just an ordinary man. But he committed murder and even installed anti- hacking software on Xenia's phone-an average person wouldn't have those skills."

That was highly suspicious.

Cedric thought for a moment and said, "If someone is willing to kill, and not just once, then they're far more cautious than the average criminal."

"Exactly. But why would a dangerous fugitive end up being my parents' driver?" Noelle could not shake the feeling that the car accident was not as simple as it seemed. The driver was definitely suspicious.

Cedric's expression grew more intense. "We'll get to the bottom of this-just stay calm."

He was determined to uncover the truth, no matter the cost.

Noelle nodded. "It's just frustrating that Wyatt interfered with the foundation case. If he hadn't, Xenia's backer would've had to show up, and we could've uncovered more leads."

However, she was not about to give up. Cedric looked at Noelle. "But about the driver-it's been years. Your only option is to ask the Liddells."

Noelle knew that, and the only person she could ask now was Frank. After all, Donovan was incredibly protective of Xenia, and there was no telling what he would do.

Since Frank handled everything for the family, he had to know the truth. But he had just gone in for surgery, and she needed to ask him in person to avoid any complications.

If they made even the slightest misstep, Sean would sense something was off and disappear in an instant. Noelle could not take that risk-every move had to be calculated.

Cedric noticed the tension in her face and whispered, "Let's eat first. You have to trust the PR firm's abilities."

Tilly quickly chimed in, "Ms. Liddell, leave this to us."

Of course, the PR firm was not actually that capable—it was Cedric's team working behind the scenes. After changing into

something more appropriate, Noelle

headed to L Bistro with Cedric.

The moment they stepped out of the car, they ran into someone familiar. Seated

in a wheelchair, Wyatt was chatting with Xenia as they made their way toward the entrance of L Bistro.

However, Wyatt's sharp eyes caught sight of Noelle immediately, and his face twisted into a frown. "What are you doing here?"

Noelle responded coolly, "Having a meal, obviously."

Wyatt narrowed his eyes. "Did you find out Donovan is meeting with the Cantrells tonight and came here just to cause trouble?"

He could not stand Noelle, especially after what she did to the girl he liked.

Noelle laughed. She definitely had not expected that Donovan was trying to make amends with the Cantrell family for Wyatt. It seemed he truly felt guilty about the O amputation all those years ago.

Xenia quickly chimed in, "Noelle, I know you're still mad at me, but you can't be so petty that you'd ruin Donovan and Wyatt's reputation. If you cause a scene and offend the Cantrells, you'll drag the entire

Liddell family down with you."

She did not want Noelle stirring up trouble. Wyatt had worked hard to smooth

things over, and Sean-other than knowing how to kill and cover things up-was useless in these matters.

Noelle smirked. "I couldn't care less about your Liddell family drama."

She turned to Cedric and took his hand, leading him toward the restaurant.

Xenia, unwilling to let it go, called out, "Noelle, without Donovan's permission, you won't get in."

Wyatt rolled his wheelchair closer and sneered, "So this is the broke loser you're dating now? If you dump him, I'll personally bring you inside."
