Theodore's expression grew serious. "Each time the side effects hit you, the damage to your body will only worsen. This will lead to complete organ failure and eventually death."

Yvette listened calmly to his words, her delicate face showing no signs of surprise. It was as though she had anticipated this outcome from the very beginning.

Yvette had taken the antidote that was created for Evelynn. Yet, it had no effect on her.

A heavy, oppressive silence hung in the room.

"Mr. Maximillian, is there no other way to save Yvie?" Xavier asked urgently, his voice laced with anxiety.

Theodore furrowed his brows and replied, "There is a way."

"What is it?" No matter how difficult or dangerous the method might be, Xavier would do it. He couldn't just let Yvette succumb to organ failure.

Theodore and Yvette said concurrently, "We need to obtain the original formula of the drug."

Only by obtaining the original formula of the drug could they develop an antidote suitable for Yvette.

At the mention of the original

formula, Theodore's brows furrowed even tighter. Obtaining the original formula would be far from easy. To this day, the mysterious group backing DY organization was unknown to them.

brows and stopped him. "Xavier, don't act recklessly. If you rush in like this, not only will you fail to obtain the formula, but you'll also risk alerting them."

Xavier understood the reasoning, but he couldn't remain calm. After a deep

breath, he forced himself to steady his nerves. "I understand."

"Xav, I know you're worried about me, but I want to retrieve the formula myself. As

for DY Organization and the mysterious force behind them, I will personally ensure they disappear!"

Yvette's voice was cold and regal, laced with unwavering determination, and leaving no room for doubt.

She had promised Evelynn that she would rescue the innocent children captured by DY organization and free them from their torment.

Yvette would also make sure that DY organization and the forces behind them were eradicated, so they could no longer harm innocent babies and children.

Wilson strode in at that moment, his hand reaching out to firmly grasp hers. "Yvie, I'll be with you every step of the way in obtaining the original formula and making sure DY organization disappears!"

Warmth surged through Yvette's heart as she clasped his hand in return. She smiled and said, "We'll do it together."

Watching this perfect union between them, Xavier bitterly lowered his gaze.
