The Bad Boy Next Room (Charlie and Taylor)

Chapter 62

Guardian Angel: 'What? Kissing is now some sort of punishment?'

Inner Devil: 'Oh, shut up! Can't you see? Our Charlie is being punished! She's fighting for her life with her tongue!'

Guardian Angel: 'Do I still have a job here?'

The heat was on!

Charlie had no idea how things had escalated so quickly, but at that moment, their muffled moans filled the air, and the sound of their heated kisses reverberated throughout the room.

Taylor kissed her like he was starving, like he had waited too long to taste her again. And Charlie? She kissed back, melting under the intensity of it all.

The more their tongues tangled, the more Charlie became enthralled in the kiss. Taylor's lips were soft and warm. Each touch seemed electrifying. His hands, firm yet possessive, held her steady like he was afraid of losing her.

Charlie could say they were at the peak of the moment when Taylor suddenly pulled away, his eyes narrowing as he studied her desperate gasp.

"Fuck, you are enjoying this punishment," Taylor noted.

Instantly, Charlie's ears burned. She panicked, thinking hard. Then, she thought of using all the lessons she had learned in K-dramas.

Slowly, she rested her hands on his solid chest. She gazed up at him with wide, earnest eyes, bit her lip, and fluttered her lashes innocently. She aimed to look cute and imagined her eyes forming hearts.

"Can we just forget about this, please?" she pleaded. "As if wrapping me like a burrito and spanking my butt in front of your friends wasn't punishment enough."

She wrapped her arms around his neck and begged again, "Please."

Taylor sighed, looking more frustrated with himself than anything. Shaking his head, he cupped her face again and warned, "Don't do this again."

Charlie nodded quickly. "Okay, okay."

His expression softened. He leaned in, pressing a soft peck to her lips, then another on her forehead. He peeled away, grabbed her hand, and said, "Come on. We are already here. Might as well introduce you to my high school friends."

"Oh, and Drew-the guy who approached you earlier? He's my senior from high school, the person I came here to meet," Taylor shared. "You might think he's good-looking, but the truth is, Drew has had multiple surgeries."

He smirked and leaned in, whispering, “Drew used to have a parrot's nose and rabbit ears, so... yeah, don't be too impressed. And remember, this is just a secret. Don't tell him I said so."

Charlie blinked, bewildered. That was definitely unnecessary information! Still, she answered, "Okaaaay..."

Soon, they returned to the pool area, walking hand in hand, with Taylor carrying Charlie's bag. As expected, all eyes were on them.

About ten of Taylor's friends stood around four cocktail tables, all smiling as they approached.

A familiar-looking guy with a square face and black hair spoke first, "Hey, Charlie I don't know if you know me, but I'm Maxwell. We go to the same university. I'm part of the A&S Raptors. Nice of you to join us."

Maxwell, gestured toward an empty spot beside him, offering, "Do you want to stay here with us?"

"Hey, Angel, why don't you sit here?" the tall guy who had earlier helped Charlie with her heels added.

"That's Drew," Taylor introduced. Then, he pressed his lips into Charlie's ears, saying, "Remember-parrot nose, rabbit ears."

Addressing his high school friends, Taylor said, "Guys, this is Charlie, my girlfriend."

They all eagerly extended their

hands to greet her, but Taylor intercepted every single one, shaking them himself. "Nice to meet you. Nice to meet you. Oh, hey! Nice to meet you!"

Charlie: "..."

Instead of letting Charlie sit next to Maxwell, Taylor guided her in front of him, placing his arms on either side of her, effectively barricading her in.

A moment of silence passed before Maxwell burst out laughing. The rest of the

guys joined in, and soon, even Charlie was laughing too.

As the night went on, Charlie mostly observed. Qccasionally, Drew would wink at her just to mess with Taylor, making her uncomfortable.

Especially since, thanks to Taylor, all she could picture now of Drew was his parrot's nose and his rabbit ears.

But Drew wasn't the only one teasing Taylor.noveldrama

"Wow, Charlie, I don't know how Taylor got so lucky. Did he bribe you? Blink twice

if you need help," one of the guys teased.

A guy named Mark added, "Charlie if Taylor ever breaks your heart, you can always lean on me."

"If you keep hitting on my girl, the only thing that's gonna break is your nose, Mark," Taylor shot back.

Maxwell, watching Taylor like a hawk, smirked. "Damn, Taylor, you and Charlie are like candy-super sweet. I'm feeling left out here. Can I be part of this relationship too?"
