The CEO’s Hidden Love Midnight Temptations and Deep Desires

Chapter 1729

"Alright, we'll protect him together!"

Felicity gazed into his eyes, and all of a sudden, tears spilled over. "Langston, we're finally having a baby of our own... I can't believe I get to give you a child!"

To most people, this might not seem like a big deal. But for Felicity, it was everything.

She never really talked about it. In fact, she avoided the subject whenever it came up. But deep down, it was her secret heartache.

So many nights, she'd dreamed she was pregnant, and she and Langston would be laughing at a summer picnic in the park, their own little family finally complete. But every morning, she'd wake up to find her arms empty and her heart aching.

That disappointment-no one else could understand.

There were times, honestly, when Felicity felt like she could just give up. The loneliness, the frustration-she felt like she was heading down a dark path she might never come back from.

But now, finally, her dream was real.

"Hey, don't cry." Miles reached up and gently wiped her tears away. "I told you, no matter what happens, I'm always here for you. Whether we have a baby or not, you're the only one I want as my wife. No one could ever take your place."

With Miles' status and family name, if he'd wanted a child, he could have found a way-there were plenty of options, especially for people like him.

But if the mother wasn't Felicity, he didn't want it. Simple as that.

...

The art show was finally wrapping up.

Aurora Lopez finally had a little time to spend at home with her son.

Once the rain cleared, she called the local auto shop to come pick up her car for repairs.

She even gave her nanny the day off. "I'll take care of Elijah today," she said. "You deserve a break."

"I'm not used to Elijah not being around!" the nanny laughed. She truly adored the little guy.

And who wouldn't? Elijah was the kind of baby who could melt hearts at the grocery store-bright blue eyes, a head full of soft curls, and a smile that made strangers stop and stare.

"Seriously, you work hard," Aurora said, handing her an envelope. "Go treat yourself. This is a little bonus."

"Thank you so much!"

After the nanny left, Aurora changed

She was curious about the renovations happening at the house down the lane.

As she approached, she spotted a few workers coming out, carrying toolboxes and ladders.

Peering inside, she noticed the place was decorated in modern black and gray. Probably a bachelor, she figured.

But in Eldorria City, a single guy buying a house here either had deep pockets or

a big name. Maybe someone she even knew?

Suddenly, a thought struck her.

Aurora wrinkled her brow and

"Sorry to bother you, but do you happen to know the name of the guy who owns this place?"

The worker looked a bit surprised and shook his head. "Sorry, ma'am, I just go where the contractor tells me."noveldrama

"Of course, thank you anyway," Aurora said, chuckling at her own curiosity.

Why would the workers know the owner's name, anyway? That was usually between the contractor and the client.

And besides, it couldn't possibly be who she was thinking of. He already had a girlfriend... right?
