The men-in-black all promptly averted their eyes, pretending that they had never heard him.

"Or would you prefer to die?" Frank asked icily and grabbed one of them, lifting them up into the air. "Tell me -do you prefer death or doing what I tell you to?"

The man sighed exasperatedly. "Just let me go, man. I get it—we should've stayed away, so just leave us be."

Frank slammed him on the ground right then and crushed his wrist under his foot. "I'll ask again! Are you going to listen, or do you prefer death?!"

"Argh....." The man was too furious to speak.

"What about the rest of you?!" Frank bellowed at the other men-in-black.

They traded glances, knowing that Frank was serious and not bluffing!

"M-Me!" one of them said meekly as he stood up.

And following his example, others followed, leaving Niki bewildered.

Frank chuckled in turn. "So, do you understand the taste of despair now?"

Niki ignored him, however, and snapped at her men, "You ingrates! My family spent a fortune on you! I'm not telling you to die for me, but at least shed some blood! If only we knew you'd be such despicable turncoats, giving in at a mere threat!" swnovel

Her words only infuriated the men-in-black.

"We've done that countless times, Ms. Lawrence. Isn't that enough to repay Mr. Lawrence already?"

Niki was left utterly speechless, and Frank strode up to her. "How does it feel, being knocked off your perch?" Niki sighed in silence.

If she had another chance, she would certainly stay away from Frank-he was just utterly terrifying!

"Don't worry, I'm just teasing you!" Frank chuckled just then. "I'm no bully—I'll make it quick even if I'm up against the worst kinds out there."
