The Great Medical Saint

Kenneth let out a mocking smile as if he were a scholar looking at a fool. To him, Matthew was nothing more than a joke. "Why are you telling me that? Don't you think it's rather ridiculous?

"Not only am I a wealthy man, but I was also born into a prominent lineage and graduated from elite schools-did you really think I wouldn't know the basics of medicine?

"It's only because I know that traditional medicine can be used to save lives that I stored the formulas in the safe."

There was a trace of confusion in Matthew's eyes as he asked, "Then why'd you say that traditional medicine is outdated?"

At that, Kenneth shook his head and said, "Since you'd be a dying man, anyway, I'll let you in on a few things. When I said outdated, I meant the sales model, profit distribution, and source allocation of traditional medicine that's outdated.

"Traditional medicine can be grown by every single farmer, so its decline would be inevitable—all because peasants would never make real money. They're doomed from profiting at large no matter what kind of industry they are to dabble in.

"It's the sort of market where people like Levi can reap the benefits, and where people like me can easily and quickly accumulate wealth."

Right after Kenneth spoke, he aimed the gun at the center of Matthew's forehead and pulled the trigger.

As the gunshot echoed throughout the room, Matthew dipped and dived forward to tackle Kenneth's legs before he headbutted Kenneth onto the ground.

Before Kenneth could shoot again, Matthew rushed forward and punched him in the temples, which made him black out immediately.

Then, Matthew bent over and took the gun from Kenneth before he looked at Levi. Now that Matthew was holding a gun, Levi trembled out of fear and said, "Don't... Don't shoot me! + didn't know he had a gun in his safe. It has nothing to do with me."

Matthew scoffed coldly as he walked toward the safe—there were more than ten barrels of gun and a number of other formulas besides the ones from Silvaris Pharmaceuticals.

There were formulas to the three types of Rehmannia Pills—namely, the Rehmannia Back Support Pills, the Rehmannia Six-Herb Pills, and the Cibotium Rehmannia Pills.

Standing by the door, Levi had

initially thought that Matthew was going to take the cash away. But seeing Matthew dump it out afterward, Levi felt a little wistful. What a shame-there were at least a

Matthew walked toward the safe with the empty box and placed all of the formulas into it. He had to take them all away, for they were formulas that could save lives —which were a hundred times more precious than the cash lying in the room.

Soon after, Kenneth regained consciousness and he frowned in blur and confusion as he held onto his head.

Once he saw Matthew clearing his safe of all its formulas, he got up and pointed accusingly at Matthew. "What are you doing? Those formulas not only include my family's but also other families from the Traditional Medicine Association.

"You'd be provoking not only the Fuller family but also the entire Traditional Medicine Association if you take those formulas away! Do you even know of the consequences you'd have to face?"
