Chapter 469 Be Gentle, It Hurts
Sophia glared at Alexander, snatched the spoon from his hand, and said coldly, "It will never happen again."
"What will never happen again? You won't like me anymore, is that it? So, you used to like me, right?"
Alexander leaned forward, his handsome face very close to Sophia's.
His deep eyes held a smile, looking both roguish and affectionate.
Sophia raised an eyebrow and glanced at him, her tone flat, "I said I won't let you feed me anymore. As for whether I liked you before, do you think it's necessary to pursue that? Anyway, I don't like you now."
She lowered her head and blew on the ravioli in the spoon, just about to put it in her mouth, but Alexander intercepted it halfway.
Sophia knew he did it on purpose and ignored him.
She lowered her eyes, scooped another ravioli, blew on it a few times, and then put it in her mouth.
Before she could swallow, Alexander's low, husky voice came to her ear.
"Sophia, if you don't like me, how can you eat with the same utensils as me? You hypocritical woman."
Sophia glanced at him indifferently and said, "I don't mind using the utensils Paxon used either. That's my affection for him."
Hearing this, Alexander angrily knocked on her head, "You say I'm a child."
"You asked for it."
Alexander smiled and said, "Fine, as long as you don't ignore me."
He slowly leaned down, blew into Sophia's ear, and said with a smile, "Are you satisfied with the breakfast I made for you?"
The warm breath he exhaled directly sprayed onto Sophia's earlobe.
His moist, hot lips brushed against her ear intentionally or unintentionally.
It made her scalp tingle.
Her hand holding the spoon tightened involuntarily.
Sophia moved aside a bit, pretending to be calm, "It's okay."
Alexander looked at her small mouth eating and wished he could kiss it.
But reason told him that to make Sophia fall in love with him again, he needed more patience.
Alexander chuckled lowly and said, "Then eat more, gain some weight, and it will feel better."
As he got up to leave, he pinched the soft flesh on Sophia's waist.
How could Sophia not understand what he meant?
But she ignored him because she knew he was setting a trap for her to fall into.
She used to be impulsive and always fell into his traps unexpectedly.
Now, she should learn to stay calm.
Seeing her not reacting, Alexander didn't dare to continue.
After breakfast, Sophia took out anti-inflammatory and pain-relief medicine from the medicine box and walked to Alexander.
She said expressionlessly, "Take off your clothes."
Alexander was dealing with work matters and immediately looked up when he heard this.
His beautiful eyes were filled with a smile, "How can I let you take the initiative in such matters? I'll do it."
After saying that, he quickly took off his shirt and was about to unbuckle his belt when Sophia's voice came again.
"Turn around."
Alexander obediently turned around, smiling roguishly, "Still shy? It's not like I haven't seen you kiss me before."
Before he finished speaking, a sharp pain came from his back, making him cry out. "Be gentle, it hurts."
Sophia increased the pressure on her hand, "If you tease me again, I'll kill you."
"You won't let me touch you, and I can't even talk? Be gentle, this injury is for you, don't you feel any pity?"
This sentence made Sophia's hand lighten up a lot.
She gently applied the ointment to Alexander's injured area.
And massaged him a few times.
Alexander went from crying out at the beginning to moaning softly at the end.
It sounded just like making love.
Angry, Sophia pinched the soft flesh on his waist, "Can you stop moaning so lasciviously?"
"Can you blame me? I react strongly to you. Touch me, and I'll stand up immediately. Don't believe me? Look in front."
Alexander pointed to his crotch.

Sophia glanced unintentionally and saw his pants bulging. Her hand's pressure increased again.
"Indeed, I can't go easy on you."
Alexander's cries echoed in the room again.
Manuel had just come down from the elevator when he heard these ambiguous sounds.
His hand, which was about to knock on the door, retracted.
It wasn't until he heard Sophia scolding Alexander that he realized he had misunderstood.
He gently knocked on the door.
Sophia's voice came from inside, "Stay still and don't move."
Sophia put down the ointment and ran to open the door.
Seeing Manuel, she wasn't surprised but rather calm.
"You're here."
Manuel handed the flowers to Sophia, looking at her with guilt, "Sophia, I'm sorry. These flowers are my apology gift. I hope you won't be mad at my mom. She speaks without thinking and even hit you, but I promise I won't let you interact with her again."
Hearing Manuel's words and looking at the flowers in her hand, Sophia smiled lightly. "I'll accept the flowers and your apology, but there won't be a future for us. I have a past relationship, which everyone knows about, and I can't hide it.
But I don't think I should be discriminated against because of it. Your mother's values don't align with mine, and she can't accept me. So, Mr. Watson, let's end this here. To be precise, we haven't even started. Let's not contact each other anymore. As for the investment, I'll have someone return the money to you. Please leave."
Sophia spoke sincerely and clearly.
This made Manuel a bit sad.
He looked at Sophia with deep affection, "Sophia, I know I was wrong, but can you give me another chance? I really like you. I liked you from the first time I saw you.
That's why I asked Alissa to introduce us. As for your past, I don't mind." Sophia smiled, "But your mother does, and this will make her look down on me. What will you do about that?"
"We can go abroad, stay there, and not interact with her. That way, she won't interfere with us."
"Mr. Watson, my career is just starting to take off here. I won't give it up for anyone. Besides, I don't need to let anyone look down on me. I'm not at the point where I can't live without you. Please understand that."
Hearing these words, Manuel clenched his fist powerlessly.
Just a heads up: is the only place to read the complete version of this book for free. Don't miss out on the next chapter-visit us now and continue your journey!
His eyes couldn't hide the pain.
"Sophia, do you still have feelings for Alexander? You can't forget him. He saved you yesterday, so you're planning to get back with him."
Sophia smiled faintly, "We only met through a blind date. We've known each other for less than a week. Including yesterday, this is the third time we've met. Do you think I would disregard my own honor for you?
As for whether Alexander and I can reconcile, it has nothing to do with you. We're done here."noveldrama
Manuel stared at Sophia's cold face, unable to hide the pain in his eyes.
His voice became huskier, "Sophia, I respect your choice. Don't withdraw the investment. My assistant will contact you in the future. I wish you find happiness soon."
After saying that, Manuel turned and got into the elevator.
As the elevator doors closed, Manuel stared at his reflection in the mirror and closed
his eyes powerlessly.
Sophia was the girl he liked.
He liked her looks and personality.
But he also knew that Sophia wouldn't accept a domineering mother-in-law like Lucy.
If they were really together, the two of them would be like water and fire.
Manuel had thought about ignoring Lucy and pursuing his true love.
But thinking about how Lucy had raised him with so much hardship over the years, his
brave heart retreated.
Maybe this is how his life would be.
Unable to escape the cage Lucy built for him.
Sophia closed the door and placed the flowers on the shoe cabinet by the door.
Alexander glanced coldly, "Do you really want to keep flowers from such a scumbag?" "Just leave them there. It would be a waste to throw them away."
"I never knew you loved money so much. When I gave you flowers, you threw them all
in the trash."
"That's because you were unfaithful, and it disgusted me."
"Manuel wrongly accused you of drugging him yesterday. Why don't you say he's disgusting?"
"In that situation, suspecting the other person is a natural reaction. My first suspicion was also Manuel. It wasn't until you appeared that I dismissed the thought." Alexander slowly leaned down, his eyes staring directly into Sophia's, "So you initially suspected that I drugged both of you and then came to save you, right?"
What do you think?
