A Surprising Twist of Fates (Sierra and Theo)

Chapter 166 Help Me

Sierra heard Theo's cold voice from behind her.

Startled, she quickly turned around, surprised to see him returning. With a mix of awkwardness and confusion, she asked, "Uncle Theo, didn't you already leave?"

"I just went downstairs to grab the meal I ordered," he explained quietly. As he approached, his eyes briefly scanned her outfit.

With a gentle smile, he added, "Let me help you."noveldrama

Sierra immediately shook her head. "No, I can handle it myself."

"Okay," Theo said, not pushing the issue.

With that, he turned and left the room.

A few minutes later, Sierra still hadn't managed to free herself from the dress, her arms sore from the effort. Frustration crossed her face as she slowly stepped out of the room.

She noticed Theo leaning casually against the wall, arms crossed. The moment he caught sight of her, a flicker of amusement sparkled in his dark eyes.

"Uncle Theo," she whispered, her face burning with embarrassment.

"What's wrong?" he asked, pretending to be unaware.

Sierra's cheeks flushed deeper.

"Could you please help me, Uncle Theo?" she asked shyly, her voice barely audible.

Theo's lips curled into a small smile, and he straightened up.

Sierra was about to turn when Theo's hands gently settled on her shoulders, guiding her to face him. His fingers moved to the back of her neck to unzip her dress.

"All done. You can change now," he said softly before walking toward the couch.

It hit Sierra in that moment-had she turned away, Theo would have seen her exposed back while unzipping her dress.

Nonetheless, his actions had been so respectful.

His chivalrous conduct warmed her heart.

But that also made her wonder-did this mean Theo didn't have romantic feelings for her?

After slipping into cozy loungewear and pinning her hair up with a clip, she quickly washed her hands and returned to the living room.

The dining table was already set, covered with a variety of dishes-each one something she loved.

Her eyes lit up, and she couldn't help but swallow at the sight. "Uncle Theo, when did you order all of this?"

"I ordered it right after I left Gray Manor. You didn't eat much earlier, so I figured you'd be hungry," he answered softly as he pulled a chair out for her.

Sierra sat down slowly, feeling a sense of gratitude.

Theo was so thoughtful, even noticing how little she had eaten.

After wiping down her cutlery, he carefully ladled some stew onto a plate and set it in front of her.

"Thank you, Uncle Theo," Sierra said gratefully.

The hunger stirring in her stomach made her forget all pretense. "Uncle Theo, sit down. Let's eat together."

"Okay," Theo agreed as he pulled out a chair and sat beside her.

He then put on a pair of disposable gloves and carefully peeled the crawfish.

As Sierra ate her stew, her attention was drawn to his hands.

They were captivating-smooth skin, well-defined knuckles, and long, graceful fingers with neatly trimmed nails.

Hands like that seemed made for playing the piano. She could almost imagine his fingers gliding effortlessly over the piano keys, creating a melody both graceful and refined.

Even while just peeling crawfish, every movement of his was captivating.

With his good looks, even the simplest actions felt enchanting.

Sierra became so absorbed in watching him that she almost spilled her stew. Theo noticed and quickly warned her, "Careful."

Snapping back to reality, her ears flushed with embarrassment. She hastily grabbed a tissue to clean up the spill on the table.

"Why are you staring so hard? Is it me?" Theo leaned in, his voice carrying a teasing edge.
